Supporting People from Diverse Backgrounds on Their Employment Journey
Moving to a new country comes with challenges, from language barriers to adjusting to a different way of life. Castle is proud to support people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds as they navigate their employment journey in Australia.
Rewadee, known as Anne, was born in Thailand, where she earned a Bachelor of Communication Arts in Journalism. After migrating to Australia, she connected with Castle’s Cessnock team for support. Initially, Anne struggled with anxiety and uncertainty about her new environment, including the language and climate. Over time, with Castle’s guidance, she has grown more confident and empowered.
Anne has been dedicated to improving her English, enrolling in English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Certificate III in Spoken and Written English courses each year. In February, she took a major step forward by enrolling in Certificate II in EAL at TAFE.
“I feel very priveleged to be able to assist Anne on her journey”
Develyn, Castle Employment Case Officer
Castle’s team has worked closely with Anne to help her build confidence and set achievable goals. Her continued progress is a testament to the power of tailored support and perseverance. By providing education, encouragement, and employment pathways, Castle continues to help individuals like Anne thrive in their new home.
